Roberta J. Young, 63, of Delphos passed away November 8, 2025, after an unexpected illness at St. Vincent's Hospital in Toledo.
Roberta was born to Robert (Bob) and Ethel (Williams) Young on May 12, 1962, in Mansfield, OH.
Roberta leaves behind four children: Holly (Kevin) White of Delphos, Tyler Roth of Van Wert, Billy (Britni) Roth of Convoy, and Marisa Davis of Delphos. She was very blessed with nine grandchildren: Quinton (Ashley) Sempkowski, Zandor Sempkowski, Rylan (Danni) Sempkowski, Jillian Sempkowski, Kalli Roth, Corbett Roth, Kennadee White, Evann White, and Cooper Roth, One great-granddaughter, Evelyn, with another one on the way. Her children and grandchildren were her life! She had many others that she called her "kids" and "grandkids" that she loved very dearly.
She leaves behind her mother, Ethel; her brother, Robbie; and best friends of 40+ years Billie Bolger and Clarence Vance.
Proceeding her in death were her father, Bob; oldest daughter, Jennifer (Jenny) Porter; and ex-husband turned best friend, Bob Roth.
Roberta graduated from West Tech Cleveland in Cleveland, OH in 1980. She went on to work with kids with disabilities. Once she had Jenny, she became a stay-at-home mom. The best one! She was an avid penguin collector and lover, Donny Osmond fanatic, favorite color was purple, avid reader (Nora Roberts and Lisa Jackson being her favorite authors), and love to talk to anyone that would listen. She didn't know a stranger. She was kindhearted, did anything she could to help others, smart, and gullible. She loved to laugh and loved with her whole heart. Raising five kids as a single parent never scared her, it made her into a strong woman!
