Robert T. Jedryczek, 78, passed away at his residence, August 11th, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born June 5, 1947 in Poland to Sylvester and Jozefa (Kowalska) Jedryczek, both preceded him in death. Robert was united in marriage in 1976 to Teresa (Przybylek) Jedryczek. She survives in Delphos.
Robert is survived by his children, Przemyslaw (Malgorzata) Jedryczek, Grzegorz Jedryczek, and Kasia (Brad) Jones, grandchildren, Alinka, Kaya Jedryczek, Zosia, Calvin Jones, and Philip, Oliver Jedryczek. He is also survived by a sister, Dorota Gorecka.
Robert was also preceded in death by his brother, Andrzej.
Robert was an electrical and mechanical engineer working for Phillips Magnavox. He was a member of Delphos St. John’s Catholic Church.
Robert was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing, and his grandkids. He lived a quiet, peaceful life. A big part of his life in Poland was his involvement in the Solidarity movement for workers rights and freedom. This involvement led to his arrest and his becoming a political prisoner. He will always be remembered as an activist for his home country of Poland.
Arrangements have been made by Harter, and Schier Funeral Home. Private services will be held by the family at a later date in his home country of Poland.
