Phyllis Sherrick

Phyllis Sherrick, 91, of Lima, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Lima Memorial Health Systems. She was born August 11, 1934, at home in Gomer, OH to Lewis and Norma (Folk) Griffith. They both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Sherrick. He preceded her in death.

Phyllis is survived by daughter, Ellen Lapham of Lima; and son, Jeffrey (Lynn) Sherrick of Lima; many grand and great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Koeppel of Toledo, Rosemary Utterbach of FL, Tom Griffith of TX, Marilyn Shelly of FL, Charles Griffith of Columbus Grove, and John Griffith of Vaughnsville.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Rick Sherrick, Fred Sherrick, Steve Sherrick, Gus Sherrick; and brother, Bill Griffith.

Phyllis was a homemaker and also worked for the Better Business Bureau for many years. She was a member of the Ridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed baking cookies, sewing, puzzles, and crosswords.
