Paul Edward Miller, age 72, of Delphos, Ohio, was born on April 14, 1953, in Lima, Ohio. He went home to be with the Lord on December 24, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., peacefully at home and surrounded by his girls.
Paul was born to Rev. Maurice Eugene “Gene” Miller and Dorothy (Bowsher) Miller. He was a 1971 graduate of Delphos Jefferson High School and remained proud of his hometown throughout his life. Paul was a lifelong member of the Browns Backers and the Delphos Jaycees, groups that reflected his love for community and camaraderie.
On August 20, 1983, Paul married Cynthia “Cindy” Slate. Together they had one daughter, April Miller. Cindy and April—his girls, as he lovingly called them—were the loves of his life and made his world complete.
Paul fought a long and courageous six-year battle with cancer. Though his body eventually gave out, his strength, faith, and determination never wavered.
Paul enjoyed spending time with friends and family and loved playing golf, bowling, pool, and softball. He cherished fishing trips with his daughter and relaxing while watching his favorite teams, the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. A devoted fan, Paul proudly collected anything and everything Cleveland Browns-related. Known for his strong work ethic, Paul worked hard throughout his life and retired from Lakeview Farms.
Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Cindy Miller; his daughter, April Miller; a son from a previous marriage; his brother, Maurice Miller Jr.; sister-in-law, Sandra “Sandy” Miller; brother-in-law, Brent “Sonny” Adam; and his nieces and nephews, Greg and Brad Adam, and Kevin, LeAnn, and Todd Miller.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on January 2, 2026, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, Ohio, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life service to follow. at 8:00 p.m.. Burial will take place at a later date.
In honor of Paul and his lifelong love for his teams, the family asks that attendees wear something representing the Cleveland Browns or The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Paul will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love of family, loyalty, faith, and the joy he brought to those around him.
