Patricia (Brinkman) Gengler

Patricia Gengler, 70, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Vancrest of Delphos. She was born in Lima on November 24, 1954, to John and Lois (Stocklin) Brinkman, who preceded her in death. On July 12, 1974, she married Charles Gengler, who preceded her in death on May 29, 2020.

Patricia is survived by her sons, Fred (Kristi) Gengler and Mike (Jessica Brown) Gengler; daughter, Heather Gengler; granddaughters, Aliyah Smith, Skyler Elswick, and Aniya Wallen; sisters, Judy Godwin, Jane (Chuck) Lehmkuhle, Connie (Gary) Stephens, and Sue Placke; brothers, John Brinkman, Don (Sue) Brinkman, Roger (Pattie) Brinkman, David Brinkman, and Jim (Trina) Brinkman; sisters-in-law: Carol Brinkman, and Polly Brinkman. 

Patricia is also preceded in death by brothers, Danny Brinkman and Terry Brinkman; sister, Karen Sue Brinkman; sister-in-law: Nancy Brinkman; and brother-in-law, Dick Godwin.

Patricia earned certification as a nail technician from the Ohio State University. She excelled as a homemaker and caregiver. Patricia enjoyed gardening, bird watching, arts and crafts, including scrapbooking, quilt making, toll painting, porcelain doll making, and crocheting.  She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Delphos Wesleyan Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. following visitation. Pastor Jason Goss will be officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the family or to Delphos Wesleyan Church.
