Keith Rust

Keith Rust, 65, of Delphos, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1960, in Lima, OH to Sherrell and Fleeta (Goetz) Rust. They both preceded him in death. Keith was united in marriage to Cheryl (Horetski) Rust on June 10, 1994. They were married for 31 years. She survives in Delphos.

Keith is survived by four children, Cheryl (Tyler Rediger) Muniz of Lima, Korey Rust of Lima, Britani (Josh) Ward of Lima, and Dylan (Brittany Thomas) Horetski of Celina; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, and sister, Melody (Malcolm) Weckman of St. Clair, MO.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Sherrell and Fleeta Rust; a son, Shayne Houseworth; and his father-in-law, Ernie Horetski.

Keith retired from Vanamatic in Delphos on April 4, 2025. He was a member of Local 41: International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators and Allied Workers. Keith loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles.

Services will be held privately by the family.
