Donald E. Young

Donald E. Young, 67, of Lima, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. He was born August 30, 1957, to Ronald E Young, Sr. and Ruby (Rice) Allemeier. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Delphos.

Donald is survived by daughter, Taren (Dylan) Starbuck of Lima; grandchildren, Nevaeh Young, Keeghan Moorman, and Brantley Starbuck; and sister, Barb (Mike) Coil of Delphos.

Donald was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Jr.; sisters, Debra Young and Karen Sendelbach; stepfather, Glenn Allemeier.

Donald worked for Palmer-Donavin as a truck driver for many years. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army. Donald enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets, working on cars, and cleaning as he was a “neat freak”. He loved spending time with his family. Donald was a member of the Delphos VFW #3035.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
