Charles J McDonough

Charles J. McDonough, 79, of Delphos, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at The Meadows of Delphos. He was born June 23, 1946, in Lima, OH, to William and Oliva (Stelzer) McDonough. They both preceded him in death.

Charles is survived by son, Scott (Elisha) McDonough of Wauseon; daughter, Pam (Elliot) Schoonover of Kossuth; eight grandchildren; siblings, Sara (Don) Baldauf of Delphos, Elaine (Mike) Schimmoeller of Delphos, Maureen (Dave) Wright of Canton, Bill McDonough of Delphos, and Jim McDonough of Rockford; and many nieces and  nephews.

Charles was preceded in death by sisters, Susan Powell and Helen Lenhart.

Charles worked for Orbitron for 25 years until they closed. He went on to work for Toledo Molding and Dye. Charles was very proud of his children and loved spending time with them and his grandchildren. He enjoyed cutting wood and irritating his closest friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
